National Cat Day was first created by Collen Paige, a strong animal welfare advocate, to bring attention to the plight of domestic cats. Often cats overlooked and under-appreciated because they don’t have usually the jobs like dogs. But don’t you know that cats bring unconditional love and companionship as well? They are a bundle of joys that bring tons of laughter and happiness to millions of people around the word and often alert their owner to danger.
National Cat Day adopted by the ASPCA ( American Society for thePrevention of Cruelty to Animals), a nonprofit organization which also works to encourage pet adoption. ASPCA work hard to bring awareness to the numbers of animals that been rescued each year and encourage cat lovers to celebrate the cat(s) in their life for the unconditional love and companionship they give upon us. National Cat Day is celebrated every 29th of October in the United States.
As a cat lover / animal lover, My partner and I usually help feed stray kittens and set aside certain amount to ASPCA and local organizations as donations in helping thousand of animals that come through the shelter every years.

These beautiful creäture are important to our life. If you own one, they became part of your family and friends.  LOVE can make a dog’s world go round as much as love makes our world go round. When we give our love freely to our dogs, we receive their love in return. Dogs can truly be man’s and woman’s and children’s best friends, and we should feel honoured to be theirs, as well.
